Equipment

  • 1 small baking dish or oven-safe skillet for baking the brie
  • 1 parchment paper optional, for easy cleanup
  • 1 small mixing bowl for the topping
  • 1 spoon for mixing and topping

Ingredients

For the baked brie

  • 1 wheel brie cheese about 8 ounces
  • 1/3 cup walnuts or pecans chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey plus more for drizzling if desired
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries or dried cherries chopped if large
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • 1 pinch flaky salt optional

For serving

  • 1 toasted baguette slices for serving
  • 1 crackers for serving
  • 1 apple or pear slices optional, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet with parchment paper if desired.
  • Place the wheel of brie in the prepared baking dish, leaving the rind on.
  • In a small bowl, mix the chopped nuts, dried fruit, rosemary, and honey until evenly coated.
  • Spoon the honey-nut mixture over the top of the brie.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the brie is soft in the center and the topping is warmed through.
  • Transfer the baked brie to a serving board or plate and drizzle with additional honey if desired.
  • Sprinkle with flaky salt if using and serve warm with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or fruit.

Notes

Do not overbake or the brie may collapse too much. Toast the nuts for deeper flavor if desired. Assemble the topping ahead, but bake just before serving for the best texture.
